Dr. Pooja is the Director and Consultant of Shiv Kripa Maternity & General Hospital, where she’s been serving for the past 4 years. She is responsible for the overall administration of the Hospital which includes analysis, performance and deliverables of the Hospital as per the best quality standards.
Dr. Pooja has got her education from JLN Medical College. Ajmer and went on to do the Specialization in gynecology in Santokbha Durlabh ji Memorial Hospital, Jaipur, Rajasthan. After completion of DNB, she had worked in Government Pannadhay Hospital. Udaipur as Assistant Professor for 3 years. She had also worked as consultant in Life care Dudu Hospital for 2 year. Dr. Pooja is a strong proponent of normal deliveries & painless labour. Her laparoscopic expertise includes management of complex ovarian cysts, ectopic pregnancies, endometriosis, fibroids, total lap hysterectomies, fertility enhancing diagnostic & operative laparoscopy and hysteroscopy as well as out-patient/ office hysteroscopic interventions.
Dr. Pooja has presented several research works and has a keen interest in education & research and evidence based practice protocols.
She manages 150-200 patients daily in the OPD. She has been an expert in managing high risk pregnancies and cesarean sections.
She has organized several camps in rural areas in association to NGO-PSI TIKKO SATHI PROGRAMME. She has been instrumental in counseling and spreading education about contraception and menstrual abnormalities.
“Health education, health awareness and prevention is key to better health” are her philosophy for practice, which reflects in all respect of her ventures.
